this sem im doing a course on Philosophy of Religion... (v stupid of me to take this!) and other then massive loads of reading, did i mention that they are very very deep.... i get to confuse myself every tues morning.... geeh... wat a nice way to start my week... so how do u start your week anyway?
heres how i start, study and appreciation of the Summa Theological and Conta Gentiles by Thomas Aquinas, and dialogues byDavid Hume on Natural Religion.... ( if u dun noe these outstanding pple, dun worry, you are in a big, and i mean BIG group of pple). Basically, i study their arguments for existance of a God and their attempts at 'fleshing out' wat God is... i wont bore you with the details... haha...
my other courses have having presentations soon... i have 2 due on week 6... thats 2 weeks away (for anyone who doesnt go by academic years) And i havent met up with anyone for project meetings!!!! shucks!
in other news: i had fun watching The Devil wears Prada, cant say the same for my bf.... haha, sorry but thanks for accompanying me, hon. the movie triggered the shopping impulse in me to come alive though (not a v good thing, seeing my v much flatten pocket)the IMF-WB delegates have arrived in our little island.... and so, i have to put up with "Channel 5 welcomes the delegates for IMF-WB to Singapore, yada yada" on TV... gosh, doesnt it get on your nerves? i do wish them to enjoy their stay here of course, just maybe without so much fanfare.... well, on the up note, i do appreciate the flowers that are just planted around my school.... hope they are to stay... but i do wonder about their cost....hm....
