It descended so abruptly.
As if, it wanted to take you by surprise.
No sniffs of warning of well cut grass,
Nor angry bursts to alert,
Not even, flashes of warning lights.

It descended so abruptly
And caught me by surprise.

Updates...

from the lack of photos, you -my dear reader must be aware that im staying at home buried in my bricks of gold... haha.. more like paper... but well i cant emphasis more than im happy buried in my books and dreaming about lores from the past, of knights of chivery and ladies of... courage! damsel in distress went down way way back ya know?
anyway, i did take notice of the time.... have you smell the aroma of rice dumplings? maybe a neighbour started making already? its the er... i dun noe wat festival.. just know that its time to eat those rice pyramids. talking about pyramids, did ya watch the Da Vinci Code yet? haha... its not bad... though you have to pardon its many diversions from the book.... better to read the book first.... oops, i dun mean to talk about the movie really, wanted to update you about the 2nd dumpling making session i had this year... gosh... oily face and hand... and the heat.... cant i ask for some nice weather from Down Under perhapes? hee...
my first dumpling making session was at my grandma's house... this time, its was at my place... a HDB flat is only this big but having relatives around was fun.... my grandma will always be some1 i look up to... she really is amazing... and the little toddlers tumbling around are cool too... naughty but adorable... back to dumplings, total count for this year 25... (optimistic estimate) haha (by moiself!)

small but loaded talk

i had this weird conversation with 2 of my uncles...

uncle1: " So, what are you studying in university again?"

me: "Business."

uncle2: "How many more years to go?"

me: " Around two more years..."

uncle2: " You better not waste the degree ya know..."

(me with weird look)

uncle1: " Her degree is a business one, very useful one lah."

uncle2: " You know, i knew i guy whose son is a uni grad but he stayed home to rear pigs..."

(me with stunt look)

me: "Ah huh....?"

uncle1: "thats some time ago...."

uncle2: " anyways, just dont waste your degree..."

me: " yah..." (desperate to end conversation)

hm... this really got me thinking... should i not waste my degree and do something i dun like or waste my degree doing something i like? of course there is another option... work in a field of my degree which i also happen to like! but we all know that that happens to only a lucky few... and im not so optimistic to think im one of them.. though it sure wont hurt to fall in that category now would it?
hm.... really makes me wonder.... did i make a right choice? wat is my end goal? is it not possible to be rich and happy at the same time?....

a shaky beginning...

i think im a litte worried... apprehensive about my new venture...i registered for the basic driving test already... to show my determination and all, i paid around $12 to SSDCL.... blood suckers! (ok, name calling at this point maybe a little premature but taking into consideration the fact that i will cough out another 1.6K in the future.... its understandable. hahaha) im so worried that i will be a road menace. what if i swerve to avoid a cat and end up killing a few drivers???? ok, im panicking!!!! better go back to my breathing lessons....
