i have faced some problems before but they are settled.
anyway, today yihui got me a little puppy (read soft toy) and we went to PS for the movie Memoirs of a Geisha. i think the show is okay la.. zhang zi yi's character is quite bland though... i think its her acting or maybe thats the Geisha way.... to be the epitome of demure women... haha... thank god for Gong Li's character.... wat a live wire, mad woman.. haha... er... the scenery was beautiful but unreal...
it was a nice coincidence that todays' lesson also have some japanese's touches. Today's Creative Writing class introduced Haikus, a 3 line poem invented by the japanese, they are just beautiful, managing to transmit the abstract into something sensory... here is one i esp. like:
Feeling lonely,
He strikes the gong again,
Guard of the hill-paddy
